What To Expect

We're Hava NaBaby! Join our new Jewish Childbirth Education Class! This class is brought to you by a partnership between Boston Birth Village, Hava NaBaby, and Schechter Boston. Sundays, October 26 and November 2, 3-5pm, held in Newton. In this 2-week course, you'll connect with other Jewish expecting parents, delight in the richness of Jewish tradition, and engage with big questions about the life you want for you and your baby. Topics include labor and what to expect, nutrition, exercises that condition and tone your body in preparation for birth, relaxation and massage for pain management, and positive communication with birthing staff. We will also focus on training your partner as your birth coach and advocate. And, since birth is just the beginning, we'll also make sure you are ready for what's to come in the weeks and months to come. We will watch videos, discuss birth topics, play some games, practice positions, and hold labor rehearsals.
