Samin Chaparoo

Samin has danced ballet her whole life — movement is so important during childbirth, and she loves bringing that body awareness into birthwork.

She was born in Arizona, has lived in Boston for about 15 years, and has spent time living in two other countries. Samin studied data science and neuroscience in college and worked in tech for several years before shifting to more people-centered work.

Samin currently supports an educational nonprofit connected to the Ruhi Institute, a global program that empowers people—especially youth—to reflect, serve, and build community from the grassroots.
