There’s something special about being in a room full of people who have come together for the same reason. Whether it’s a celebration, an important cause, or simply a chance to connect, the best events have a way of making people feel something long after they leave.

At One28 Strategic Events, that feeling starts with a simple question: why?

Why are you bringing people together? What do you want people to feel, know, or take away from the experience? Before getting into the details, founder Leora Kimmel Greene starts with the purpose behind the event. From there, One28 brings together strategy, creativity, and thoughtful planning to create something meaningful.

We love that approach because, when it comes to The CLIMB Boston 2026, the reason we're gathering is at the heart of everything.

Meet One28 Strategic Events

One28 Strategic Events is focused on creating experiences with intention. Of course, there are all the details that go into a great event, the planning, logistics, design, and making sure everything comes together, but there is also the bigger picture.

How does the event feel when someone walks in?

What experience are they having?

What will they remember afterward?

At One28, every event begins with understanding why people are gathering in the first place. Whether it's a celebration, fundraiser, or another meaningful occasion, the goal is to create an experience that feels thoughtful from beginning to end.

A Personal Reason to Support The CLIMB

For Leora, supporting postpartum families is also personal.

As a new mom, she experienced postpartum anxiety. She shared that medication, therapy, and support from friends and family were all critical in helping her get the help she needed.

There is something really important about being able to talk openly about that.

The postpartum period can hold a lot at once. It can be joyful and exhausting, beautiful and overwhelming. You can love your baby deeply while still struggling, and you can be surrounded by people while still feeling alone.

Sometimes you need professional support. Sometimes you need the people around you to show up. Often, you need both.

And needing help doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. It just means you're human.

The Importance of Feeling Less Alone

One of the things we hope parents find at Boston Birth Village is connection. Postpartum can feel isolating, and sometimes simply hearing another parent say, “I've felt that way too,” can make all the difference.

That's a big part of what The CLIMB Boston 2026 is about. We're coming together to support postpartum families, raise awareness around perinatal mental health, and continue building a community where parents feel seen and supported.

We're especially grateful to have One28 Strategic Events supporting this work. Their belief in bringing people together with intention feels so fitting for an event like The CLIMB.

Because sometimes, when the right people come together for the right reason, something meaningful happens.

A conversation begins.

Someone feels seen.

A parent realizes they aren't alone.

And little by little, a community starts to feel like a village.
