When You Don't Know Where to Start: Meet The List

Sometimes the hardest part of asking for help is figuring out where to start.

You know you need support, but then comes the searching. Who do you call? Who can you trust? Who actually understands what you're going through? Suddenly you're scrolling through Google, Facebook groups, and endless lists of providers, while already feeling overwhelmed.

That experience is exactly what inspired Olivia Gregorian to create The List, a curated platform connecting women and families with trusted providers, businesses, and resources across New England.

And we're so excited to have The List supporting The CLIMB Boston 2026.

The Story Behind The List

The idea for The List came from Olivia's own experience after becoming a mom for the second time.

After the birth of her second son, Olivia experienced postpartum depression. At her six-week postpartum appointment, she told her OB that she was struggling. She was offered a prescription for Zoloft, but left the appointment knowing she needed more support, and with very little direction on how to find it.

That's when the search began.

Finding the right therapist, psychiatrist, and other support meant doing research, sorting through recommendations, and trying to figure out who she could trust. And she was doing all of that while already struggling.

Over time, Olivia realized the same problem kept coming up. Whether she was looking for mental health care, hormonal support, resources for her children, or something else for her family, finding the right person often felt harder than it should.

She kept coming back to the same thought: there has to be a better way.

And eventually, that became The List.

A More Human Way to Find Support

The List brings together trusted providers and businesses across mental health, maternal and women's health, nutrition, pelvic floor and physical therapy, parenting support, fitness, wellness, and more.

But Olivia didn't want to create just another directory.

She personally meets with every provider before they join The List. She wants to understand what they do, but also who they are and how they care for people.

The idea is to make finding support feel a little less like searching a database and a little more like asking a friend:

“Do you know someone?”

The List also offers Ask The List, where women can reach out when they aren't even sure what kind of support they need or where to begin.

Sometimes having a place to start makes all the difference.

Why Postpartum Support Is Personal

For Olivia, supporting perinatal mental health isn't just connected to her business. It's deeply personal.

Her own experience with postpartum depression showed her how difficult it can be to find help during a season when you barely have the energy to ask for it. The responsibility of researching providers and figuring out next steps can become another thing placed on the person who is already struggling.

It's also why The List and The CLIMB Boston 2026 feel so naturally connected.

Both are rooted in the idea that parents deserve community, resources, and real support. No one should have to spend hours searching for help when they're already having a hard time.

As Olivia puts it, sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing where to start.

Motherhood Can Be Two Things at Once

One of Olivia's biggest pieces of advice for new parents is that parenthood will probably be one of the hardest and most beautiful things you ever do, and both can be true at the same time.

You don't have to compare your experience to the version of motherhood you see online. You don't have to love every moment. And you don't have to lose every part of yourself when you become a parent.

Olivia encourages moms to protect something that feels like their own. Maybe that's a workout, dinner with a friend, a walk by yourself, or going to bed early. Whatever helps you reconnect with yourself matters.

And when you need more support, find your people and let them help.

You were never meant to figure all of this out alone.

Finding Your Place to Start

The List continues to grow throughout New England, connecting more women and families with providers while also creating a community among the professionals doing this work.
